I’ve been listening to a lot of TalkArt podcasts lately and they always wrap up by asking ‘what’s your favorite color?’
I’ve never been able to answer that myself, until yesterday in the studio when it hit me—this particular neon lemon yellow / Pantone safety yellow / fluorescent chartreuse / yellow green / neon lime…
It represents modern life to me, and I love using it as a kind of personal code in my work, juxtaposed with vintage things as if to say ‘I am here’.
I also love it in small doses in accessories, like detailing on a pair of Nikes.
